Our Manifesto

Our system is broken. It works against us instead of for us.

People are struggling to afford food, healthcare, and housing.
The planet is hotter than ever.
There is more plastic in the ocean than fish.
There are more cars in Los Angeles than trees.

We spend more time on our phones than with one another.
We spend more money on stuff than on caring for others.
Our communities are losing access to critical resources.
Our neighbors are under violent attack for who they are.
And yet, day-to-day life just carries on.

It’s overwhelming, with no clear place to put our energy.

Physical gathering spaces are disappearing.
We lack meaningful places to connect with each other.
We’re pushed into digital spaces that are controlled by algorithms.
And when we do try to “do good”, it often feels performative, isolated or like it’s not enough.

But, this didn’t happen by accident.

These crises are rooted in the corruption of our political and economic systems. Our leaders, mega-corporations, and the ultra-wealthy prioritize profit and power over human well-being. They’ve built systems designed to serve the few, while harming the many and our planet.

That’s why we need to build something new.

Imagine a future where local spaces for movement-building and socializing converge? From coffee shop couches to hiking trails, to picnic blankets to backyards, gathering locally and consistently is how we can develop a shared understanding of what’s going on and build collective power.

Meet Better Future Club.

Better Future Club exists to make these spaces real. We cultivate authentic connection and purposeful action that’s grounded in joy and care. We’re here to help you tap into local solutions that exist right in our own neighborhoods, so you can co-create ripple effects of change.

We’re a club for people who are concerned about where things are headed, believe in a better future, and want to get real about doing something to make it happen. Join us!
